We are a small family run business with a passion for food, hospitality, and authenticity. We believe there is no better way to spend time with family, get to know a new culture, or to make new friends than through a shared meal.
It is our hope that our meals help you save quality time to spend with the ones you love!
Whether you find something familiar, or try something totally new, from our casa to your casa, we wish you,
With nearly 30 years of combined experience in over 15 different restaurants, 7 different cities, and 5 different countries, Mario and Kelly Crobu have a passion for hospitality, good food, travel, (and of course wine!), and, most importantly, sharing these things with others.
Mario and Kelly met in New York City, while working together at an Italian restaurant in Tribeca. They got married and, after the birth of their son, Anthony, made the move to Denver, Colorado to be closer to family.
Mario is a native Italian, born and raised on the Mediterranean island of Sardegna. Growing up, he learned traditional pasta making, cooking techniques, and recipes with his family.
Kelly, originally from Chicago, grew up in the Philippines. Living overseas gave her a love for other cultures, the ocean, and a constant seeking out of new adventures and experiences.
Although a part of Italy, Sardegna has a distinctly unique culture, as well as its own language. Our surname, CROBU (“crow-boo”), means “CROW” in Sardegnan. We chose to use this symbol to represent our goal of providing classic Italian cooking, that is still distinctly unique, because it has been carefully prepared by us!
We hope you enjoy preparing Casa Crobu meals in your own home and may you feel the love and care we put into everything that we do!
Thank you for being a part of our journey!
